Why Brazil matters
Brazil’s scale means “Brazilian coffee” can describe many agricultural systems and flavour styles. Important Arabica varieties include Bourbon, Caturra, Catuaí and Mundo Novo, while Conilon is significant in the country’s canephora sector.
How to read a Brazil coffee label
Country scale makes generalisations particularly risky: a Brazilian natural-processed coffee from one region can be very different from a washed lot from another.
