Why Kenya matters
Kenya’s coffee history includes the work of the former Scott Agricultural Laboratories, whose selections contributed varieties now recognised internationally. Coffee is grown across several highland areas, with production shaped by local climate, soils, varieties and processing.
How to read a Kenya coffee label
The familiar Kenyan profile is not a guarantee for every Kenyan coffee. Variety, elevation, processing and roasting can change the sensory result.
Look beyond the country name
