Why Vietnam matters
Vietnam’s Robusta sector is globally significant, and World Coffee Research identifies Vietnam among the small group of countries responsible for most global Robusta production. The country is also developing higher-value and specialty-oriented coffee sectors.
How to read a Vietnam coffee label
Robusta should not be treated as synonymous with low quality. Genetic diversity, farm practices, processing and roasting all affect the final coffee.
